Raven walked the beach in lonely solitude. He wished he could talk to someone. He came upon a giant clamshell, blocking his path. From inside the shell came little voices, crying, "Let us out! Let us out!" With his strong beak, Raven pried open the shell and let the first people out into the world. Now his loneliness could be forgotten. Over the years the people grew and changed. Finally they became as we are today. However, Raven did not change. He still talks to us, but, now that we have grown up, we have forgotten his language.
